Pain

This pain mutilates my heart.
there is no remedy.
there is no cure.
the scar will remain forever.
the pain will never fully subside.
The only way to remove the pain is to remove the heart.

The image will forever stay with me.
The memory will haunt me endlessly.
I am about to yield,
yet i shall not, to keep my word to you my dear.
